# How to list your fungible token on the official token registry

The token registry represents an approved list of fungible tokens. This is the list that is used for wallets and DeFi protocols. So if you want users to be able to easily access your token without having to go through the process of manually importing it via the contract address you should consider getting your token listed on the token registry.

## Prerequisites

To list your token on the token registry you will need:

* Have created a fungible token to list on the official token registry. You can follow this guide if you haven't created a fungible token yet [Create, deploy & mint a fungible token](/tutorials/create-deploy-and-mint-a-fungible-token.md).
* A GitHub account.
* Working knowledge of GitHub. The ability to fork a repo and create a pull request.

## Get listed on the token registry

To get your token listed on the token registry follow the steps in the official repo, <https://github.com/vechain/token-registry>.
